Cooking
For mothers day she wanted me to cook her something. I got a good recipe from a friend that is a wasabi aoli over seared tuna, rice, and asparagus. The aoli is made by combining about 1cup of mayo, 1tablespoon of garlic, 1teaspoon of tabasco, and about an ounce of wasabi. For the seared tuna I covered the steaks in sesame seeds and seared them in sesame oil. I made plain white rice and broiled the asparagus. I cooked the tuna steaks rare, and sliced them into thin strips, placing them around a clump of rice in the middle, and asparagus alternating with the tuna. Then I drizzled the aoli over the tuna. It was very good, even on an electric stove.
